Communications/Policy Adviser - NFP

Your new company is seeking an exceptional communication and policy advisor to join their Canberra team. This organisation works closely with Government and private enterprises to build long lasting and sustainable relationships as a whole.

The role

In the role you will be responsible for

  • Organising and coordinating communication from across the organisation
  • Advising and working alongside staff to implement policy structures
  • Supporting and developing the business's requirements and needs
  • Consulting and developing policy and company positions
  • Building and maintaining stakeholder relations
  • Producing briefs, policy documents and other written products

The candidate

The successful candidate must

  • Come from a strong communications and policy background
  • Be adaptable and be capable to respond to new and emerging challenges
  • Exercise innovative and critical thinking
  • Be a clear and effective communicator
  • Show proven ability to create and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication strategies
