Overview
My client is the global market-leading manufacturer of BMS systems and components, drives and controls and linear motion products. This particular division supplies directly to a number of different industries, from government to healthcare to corporate buildings.
Due to continued growth this division is experiencing, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to appoint a home based area manager covering NSW and ACT.
The role
As area manager you will be responsible for developing existing relationships with key clients on patch and developing business through the existing customer base while also targeting new business.
Given the market leading status of my client most of your time will be servicing the existing client base however they are looking for a keen business developer to drive growth through these accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Selling and cross selling my client's products and services
- Update and maintain latest customer data for their customer database
- Present technical products and solutions to a broad range of clients
- Develop and implement annual sales plans to achieve your sales budget
- Ensure accounts in your portfolio are visited in accordance with established criteria
The candidate
- Electrical background highly beneficial
- Track record in sales with an engineered product preferably within switchgears, automation, power grids, robotics and motions (however other product ranges will be considered)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Capability to present technical information to clients
- The hunger to drive sales and go above and beyond essential for this market leader
Benefits
In return, my client will offer a salary base ranging from $110-120,000 + Super + FMCV or car allowance + Bonus along with the opportunity to work for a global market leader.
