Our client designs and manufactures high integrity steel products for the construction industry. There is an opening for an experienced operations manager with amazing people skills to play a lead role in the growth and ongoing maintenance of the operation. Your ability to communicate effectively will be key and your focus on Safety, Health and Environment a high priority.
*Manage the team to achieve an industry wide reputation for excellent customer service.
*Drive best practice SHE performance throughout the team.
*Responsible for internal DIFOT.
*Ability to communicate key tasks, objectives and progress on initiatives.
*Be flexible enough to perform a range of category management duties in order to support the business.
*Ensure that computer systems provide maximum benefit and efficiency.
*Assist the Operations Team where possible to fix day to day issues on machinery, processes and procedures.
*Measure and report on monthly KPI's.
*Help drive OpEx through the business both commercially and operationally.
This is a broad based role where you will be expected to participate in all areas of the business with a view to advance into a superior role in the future.
